Experimental study on tensile mechanism of UHPC grouted sleeve splice

The grouted sleeve splice is a competitive in the prefabricated structure that plays key role ensuring stability of whole structure. Despite large amounts experiments performed, its force mechanism has rarely been explored. In this study, novel method was developed to calculate constitutive model splice, and comprehensive understanding analyzed. Tensile tests 24 specimens were conducted explore mechanical properties splice. results showed anchorage length rebar with ultra-high-performance grout material can be shorter than recommended design standards. eccentricity rebars have significant impact on performance which deserves special attention construction. non-anchorage section offers little contribution bearing capacity. Based concept equivalent elastic moduli, theoretical calculation established reveal stress–strain relationship errors between test vary from 0.20% 18.90%.
